Synchronous pulley retaining ring installation requirements

    1. One of the two pulleys must have a retaining ring on both sides, or a retaining ring on a different side of each pulley.

    2. In the transmission where the center distance is more than 8 times the diameter of the small pulley, there should be retaining rings on both sides of the two pulleys.

    3. In the vertical shaft drive, there should be retaining rings on both sides of one of the pulleys, and there should be retaining rings on the bottom side of the different sides of each pulley in the system.

    4. In multi-shaft transmission, it should be ensured that there are two retaining rings for every other pulley, or one retaining ring on different sides of each pulley of the system.

    Pulley installation requirements

    When installing the pulleys, pay attention to the parallelism of the pulley axes, so that the transmission centers of the pulleys are located in the same plane to prevent the belt from being pressed against the retaining ring due to the inclined deviation of the pulleys, which will cause increased wear on the side of the belt, or even The belt is cut by the retaining ring. Therefore, the deflection of the pulley must be adjusted, and the deflection angle can be adjusted to the allowable range.

    Timing belt tension

    When the timing belt is installed, the tension must be appropriate. If the belt tension is too small, it is easy to cause the belt teeth to jump out of the tooth groove of the pulley; if the belt tension is too large, the friction will increase, which will easily reduce the belt life. The belt tension can be achieved by changing the center distance of the transmission device.
